Fête nationale au Music Village

Krewe du Belge is a in New Orleans. Formed after returning from a trip to New Orleans, Vanessa Tanghe and Christophe Mercier, created Krewe du Belge, a (self-proclaimed) Belgian company of Carnaval. They decided to take inspiration from this unique city, and promote its positive and inclusive way of creating culture. From Louis Armstrong to Trombone Shorty, Dr John, Professor Longhair, and the amazing brass bands of NOLA, discover the Jazz New Orleans music as it’s played today in the cradle of Jazz. For the 21th of July, National Day in Belgium, Krewe du Belge will perform a few surprises, mixing Jazz New Orleans music and some Belgian folkloric popular songs.
